PEF 2023 Annual Conference and General Assembly

In an atmosphere of fraternal joy and visible anticipation, some 140 delegates from 30 nations of Europe came together for three days of mutual edification and encouragement on the occasion of the Annual Conference of the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF), held in the capital of Poland and graciously hosted by a local Pentecostal church in the center of Warsaw, on March 8-10, 2023. PEF Chairman Marek Kaminski was the keynote speaker of the opening session on the conference theme, KEEP GOD’S FIRE BURNING!

Statement on Situation in Ukraine and Update on Evangelistic Activities

PEF STATEMENT ON THE SITUATION IN UKRAINE As the Pentecostal European Fellowship, we are deeply grieved at the loss of so many lives, the displacement of so many people, and the tragic suffering caused to the most vulnerable as a result of the Russian war against Ukraine. We are all saddened by all the ramifications of this horrible war, including the destruction of Ukrainian church buildings, stopping the operation of ministries that have been working so hard for years for the betterment of their society.

2022 Wake Up Europe Conference

From August 31st to September 2nd, 2022, the WAKE UP EUROPE Conference was hosted by the Filadelfia Church in Stockholm (Sweden), with over 200 delegates from 32 countries in Europe. This Conference, organized under the auspices of the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF), in cooperation with its networks, namely the Pentecostal European Mission (PEM), the Pentecostal Youth of Europe (PYE), the European Pentecostal Theological Association (EPTA) as well as with the Pentecostal Movement in Sweden, was the first in presence conference after the Covid19 pandemic.

2019 PEF Annual Conference

On March 6-8, 2019, the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF) had its annual conference in the beautiful city of Antibes (France), with some 170 delegates from 27 countries. In the opening session, Christian Blanc and Daniel Thevenet, representing PEF members in France, respectively the Assemblies of God (ADD) and the Union of Evangelical Revival Churches (UEER), shared greetings and words of encouragement to all the participants. Impact Kosovo 2018

From July 11th to the 15th, about 380 young people from 27 nations came together in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, for a week of outreach, not only in this city but in five other cities (Mitrovica, Vushtrri, Gjakova, Suhareka and Gjilan) of this young nation. In fact, this year marks the 10th anniversary of Kosovo as an independent nation. Impact Kosovo 2018 was an outreach conducted under the auspices of the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF), coordinated by Pastor Artur Krasniqi with a very efficient and dynamic team of volunteers, and with the support of PEF Team represented by Daniel Costanza, Markku Ovaska, Veera Hug and Stefan Ross.

2018 PEF Annual Conference

On March 7-9, 2018, over 200 delegates from 35 countries in Europe participated in PEF’s Annual Conference hosted by the Pentecostal Seminary in Warsaw (Poland) and organized in cooperation with Royal Rangers Europe. The conference theme, “JESUS FOR EUROPE”, focused on three aspects: “Next Generation”, “Stronger Together” and “Reaching the Unreached”. Every speaker was greatly used by the Lord in addressing these topics both in the plenary sessions and in the workshops.

Impact Montenegro 2017

On July 2-9, Impact Montenegro took place in 7 different cities of this small and beautiful nation, namely in Podgorica (the capital), Tuzi, Niksic, Bar, Budva, Kotor, and Ulcinj. This summer outreach, conducted under the auspices of the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF), was defined by local leaders as being historical. Before dispatching the teams in the various cities, training and prayer sessions were held at the University Hall in Podgorica, featuring inspirational messages by PEF Chairman Pelle Hornmark (Sweden), PEF Executive Director Daniel Costanza (Belgium) and Tom Benigas (USA) as well as practical workshops with Veera Hug (Finland), Markku Ovaska (Finland) and Stefan Ross (Germany).

2017 PEF Annual Conference

The Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF) held its annual conference on March 8-10, 2017 in Stockholm, Sweden. Hosted by the historic Filadelfia Church, this was a joint conference of PEF and the Pentecostal European Mission (PEM), with a distinctively clear missional purpose reflected in its theme: “JESUS FOR EUROPE AND BEYOND.” Some 250 Pentecostal leaders from 35 countries in Europe, representing national movements and missions’ organizations, enjoyed the precious times of worship and fellowship during the plenary sessions.

Impact Skopje 2016

July 4-10, 2016, about 150 participants from 13 countries in Europe and the USA, beside local believers, pastors and missionaries, took part in Impact Skopje 2016, a city-wide outreach conducted under the auspices of PEF in full cooperation with the Evangelical Church in the Republic of Macedonia. Every morning the youth teams had refreshing times of worship, intercession and Bible teaching, featuring a variety of specialized ministries in the area of contemporary and contextualized evangelism.

About 150 Pentecostal leaders from 30 countries in Europe gathered in Zagreb, Croatia, on the occasion of PEF’s Annual Conference held on March 2-4, 2016 at the Panorama Hotel. Pelle Hörnmark, new Chairman of PEF

Rev. Pelle Hörnmark, (Sweden), 54 years old, is married to Tina, father to three children, and a grandfather. His education includes building engineering, Bible college and leadership and organizational development. Hörnmark has been in full time ministry since 1986, serving as Missionary in the Horn of Africa for 5 years, Senior Pastor of the Pentecostal Church in Jönkoping for 11 years, and Superintendent of the Swedish Pentecostal Movement for the last 8 years.

Refugee crisis in Europe

The Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF) is concerned about the situation of the refugees coming to Europe, recognizing the political, economic, humanitarian and spiritual aspects involved. PEF encourages its member movements to show Christian love toward the refugees following the example of the Good Samaritan in the Bible. PEF is encouraging the Pentecostal believers to remember the positive attitude concerning the stranger which is so evident in both the Old and New Testaments.

Impact Lugano 2015

On June 23-27, 2015, PEF conducted its annual city-wide outreach, this time in Lugano, Switzerland, in cooperation with its branches (PEM and PEFY) and with 7 local churches. It was truly a dynamic week as 60 young people from Europe, including Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Macedonia, Norway and Spain spread the message of the Gospel in the streets, parks, and squares of Lugano. Some joined in this outreach as individuals while others came in teams, sharing the Good News in various ways and methods.

i15 Press Release

On March 4-6, 2015, the i15 Leadership Summit, organized by the PEF, took place at the LEG church in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As Dr. Arto Hämäläinen, Chairman of PEF, noted in his welcome address, this was “a first-time-ever event, held in this format, for European Pentecostalism.” Indeed, the summit gathered over 285 Pentecostal leaders from 36 countries for a three-fold purpose as indicated by the three “i”s: 1) Ignite the fire of the Holy Spirit in our hearts; 2) Impart our spiritual heritage to the new generation; 3) Impact Europe and the world together.

Impact Bratislava 2014

Impact Bratislava, a city-wide outreach, took place June 19-22, 2014 under the auspices of the PEF and the Apostolic Church in Slovakia, along with the cooperation of various other denominations. The local committee of pastors and leaders did an outstanding job in planning and coordinating this project which resulted in some 600 volunteers serving in 9 different districts of the city. A great variety of activities were provided such as social help, sports, music, distribution of tracts, personal conversations and prayer.

PEF Symposium on the Family

On the occasion of the UN’s 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family, the Pentecostal European Fellowship (PEF) held for the very first time a Symposium on the Family and Marriage in Hannover (Germany) on March 7, 2014. This historical event took place in conjunction with the Annual Conference of the PEF Committee, which gathered over 80 Pentecostal leaders from over 25 countries of Europe. Year of the Family

Honoring the United Nations’ 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family, the P.E.F. has declared 2014 as the Year of the Family. In its last Meeting, the Presidium of the P.E.F. unanimously decided to join this Campaign as a timely opportunity to express and encourage a Biblical perspective of the family and marriage, and other related issues. PEF Chairman, Dr. Arto Hämäläinen, invites the entire PEF community to engage in relevant actions that will promote the timeless values of Family and Marriage as ordained by God.

2011 PEF Annual Conference

This year’s PEF annual conference took place in Chisinau, Moldova, on March 3-4 at the Leo Grand Hotel, right in the heart of the city. Some 130 leaders, representing Pentecostals movements from 28 European countries, gathered for a time of fellowship, inspiration and reflection on a most timely theme: “PEF’S COVENANT FOR EVANGELISM – Which are the most fruitful forms of evangelism today?” PEF Chairman Ingolf Ellssel opened and led the conference, expressing special thanks to Victor Pavlovski, conference host and leader of the growing national Pentecostal movement in Moldova.
